This Malaysian Tamil or Indian-based movie is currently airing in Malaysian cinemas. Despite the lack of support from viewers, this movie is actually doing quite well. The promotional team even gave out free tickets to promote the movie in Kuantan.

Let’s review this movie. It features classic actors such as Irfan Zaini and Loga Varman, along with the newly debuted TikTok influencer Marie Dashani Matthews. A few other well-known actors also make cameo appearances.

Good

• This movie has a few twists that keep the storyline moving. However, there are so many twists that it can become confusing at times.
• The final twist, who was murdered is the best but it ended quickly. If you didn't focus, you might miss that part. That's how quick it is.
• The estate setting looks amazingly beautiful and gives the movie a classic atmosphere.
• The movie is quite thrilling. However, it would have been more interesting if there had been some fight scenes, a stronger villain appearance, or something similar. The story mainly focuses on investigation, but it is still enjoyable.

Bad

• Actors such as Irfan and Dashani are good-looking, but can they really act? At times, their performances rely too much on passive facial expressions rather than strong emotional delivery.
• The dialogue in Malaysian movies is still quite formal and does not always match the scenes. Do Malaysians really speak this formally in real life? This is especially noticeable in the unnecessary love story, where Janani (Dashani) tries to stop Irfan, the hero, from arresting her fiancé. Was this dialogue and stopping scene really necessary?
• The unwanted love story does not really contribute much to the development of the main storyline and does not feel properly built into the scenes.
• There are also some religious scenes and a grandfather scene that do not seem to match Malaysian Indian sentiments. In my opinion, these scenes could simply have been avoided because they feel unnecessary.
• The grandfather scenes are particularly confusing. Is the movie trying to portray or question family bonding? I’m not really sure what the intention was.

Can you watch this movie in the theatre? Yes, you can.

Apart from the religious elements, what appears to be a possible "love jihad" theme, and the confusing grandfather scenes, the movie is still worth watching in the theatre.

The investigation and twists keep the movie moving, while the beautiful estate setting adds a classic atmosphere. Although there are several confusing elements and some unnecessary scenes, the movie is still entertaining enough for a theatre experience.

Big Expectation

Many people wanted to see the Telugu movie Raakaasa. People had big expectations before the movie came out. The trailers looked very interesting. The movie starts in a very good way. It shows a beautiful world and makes the audience feel excited.

The main actors are good and presentable. The hero is Sangeeth Sobhan. He is very handsome. He looks great on the screen. The heroine is Nayan Sarika. She is very beautiful. When they are together, they look wonderful. They bring good energy to the film. In the beginning, you feel happy to watch them. You think you are going to see a great movie.

The story is about an NRI. He is a young man who lives in another country. He comes back to his small village. He goes to see an old, dark fort. In this village, there are many strict rules about the fort. But the hero accidentally breaks a rule. Because of this, an old, dangerous curse wakes up. A big demon or monster comes back to life.

The Comedy and the Story Problems

The first half of the movie has many "fun elements." There are many jokes. The lead actor tries to make people laugh. Some popular comedy actors like Vennela Kishore and Getup Srinu are also in the movie. They try their best to do good comedy. In some scenes, the audience can smile and laugh.

But as the movie goes on, there is a big problem. The comedy does not have a proper finishing touch. This means the jokes start well, but they do not end well. The funny parts feel like separate small videos. They do not join together with the real story. The comedy does not help the main plot move forward.

The director of the movie is Manasa Sharma. The director tries to do too many things at the same time. The director wants to have twist after twist. Every few minutes, something changes in the story. The director thinks these twists will make the movie exciting. But actually, too many twists confuse the audience. The story loses its way. Instead of feeling thrilled, the audience feels tired because the story changes too much.

The story line of Raakaasa simply does not help the film. It is weak. It feels like the writers did not think carefully about how to connect the horror elements with the funny scenes. Because of this, the actors have a difficult time making the movie look good.

A Big Disappointment

The biggest problem of the movie is the ending. The final twist at the end is quite disappointing. It changes everything in a bad way.

The movie tells us about a big monster or Rakshasa. This monster is 2000 years old. For 2000 years, this creature was very bad and scary. It was a cruel demon. It did not have a kind heart. It asked the village people for human sacrifices. It wanted to kill real people to get power. The movie builds a lot of fear around this 2000-year-old monster.

But at the very end of the movie, the story changes completely. Suddenly, the movie shows that the monster is actually a good person! The director tries to show that the monster has a good heart and a sad past. This twist is very hard to believe. How can a cruel monster that asked for human sacrifices for thousands of years suddenly become a good person? It makes no sense. The audience feels bad because the scary build-up is completely ruined. Another disappointment is...in this modern AI world, the monster still looks graphic and not scary at all. Disappointing!

The Bad Logic

Also, the ending completely ignores its own logic. In the early parts of the story, we learn about a person who died. This person died directly in the hands of the monster. Before dying, that person found a specific method to destroy the monster. It was a special way to kill the demon forever.

The audience expects the hero to use this specific method in the climax. But at the end, the monster is not destroyed by the method suggested by the person who died. The movie completely forgets this rule. This makes the story feel very lazy. The death of the character in the past becomes useless because their advice was not important at the end.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Raakaasa is a movie with good actors but a very bad story. All the casts played their roles well. Sangeeth Sobhan is good at comedy. Nayan Sarika looks beautiful and acts well. The supporting actors like Brahmaji and Ashish Vidyarthi do a great job too. The fort sets look very real and scary.

But a movie needs a logical story. You cannot take a 2000-year-old bad monster and say he is a good guy at the end. You cannot forget the rules of your own story. Because of these mistakes, Raakaasa starts with a big expectation but finishes in a very disappointing way so it gain 4/10 MOVIEW STARS. DO WATCH IN NETFLIX.

This drama highlights how bad a rich can be and the scandals around them which make the audience angry. Interestingly, this drama is focused around a Penthouse known as Hera Palace.

It was actually a computer graphic designed placed in the richest neighbourhood, Samseong Dong, Gangnam Gu. The actual filming done in luxurious apartment in Paju

Hera is a Greek Goddess of women, marriage and child birth. It is suitable as the story centred around how mothers protect their child or telling the world they might do anything for their children.

Bigg Boss Season 5 (Tamil) Overview

Bigg Boss Season Tamil just ended today and as predicted Raju Bhai won the title. Let's have a look what this season's overall picture.

Consecutive winner

Since day 1, Raju Jeyamohan and Priyanka Deshpande has been in top votes and finally Raju won the title and Priyanka gain the first runner up title. So nothing surprising there and it is almost predicted.

Thamarai VS Niroop

Thamarai was predicted to be top 5 finalist but Bigboss made a wrong decision which Niroop use it to make himself finalist. Using passive influences, Niroop convince the members to choose him as finalist. This created hatred among audiences as it was done at the end of the week after all the voters have voted. Which is unfair for Thamarai  as she deserved to be finalist.

Two Unique Characters

Raju and Ciby are the most unique characters a they did not harm others and showed almost genuine personality. One impressed the audience with jokes and comedies while the other one gained popularity with honesty and straight forwardness.

Bluff Strategist

Niroop Nandakumar is stated as the worst contestant. Honestly if you watch it, Niroop can't do many physical tasks and Ciby has more record in captaincy tasks. Niroop did not do push up when Sarathkumar is there, Niroop was defeated early in the bull task, Iyky berry runs for Niroop in doll task, Sanjeev defeated Niroop and etc. So, where is Niroop? Only his mouth keep blabbering. He stole Priyanka's coin under friendship's name, he acted innocent after he saved last, he used cornering card after he was removed from Finale task. He also cherished friendship with Priyanka at the end to gain more support. Many stated he is worst than Julie and Abhishek.

Heartfelt Stories

Many past stories of the contestants are totally touching as they faced many difficulties in life especially story of Namitha Marimuthu. But, Amir, the wildcard entry made everyone cried and no one imagine his mother will face such death.

Boring yet Unique

This season was stated as the worst season compared to the previous ones but many agreed that it is unique as the contestants had true relationship between each other and not fake. Except Niroop who fakes almost all the relationship.

NEW WORLD : KOREAN REALITY - NETFLIX

We have heard about Runningman and it is world phenomena. Recently, Netflix has come out with their own Reality Programme in Korea by having top casts such as Jo Bo Ah, Eun Ji Won, Lee Seung Gi, Exo Kai, Kim Hee Chul and Park Na Rae.

The show has its own concept and it is quite interesting. It shows how 6 participants make money in the New World. Even though it is not as good as Runningman, it still has its own unique materials. The participants are really suitable for reality show.

The comedy of the participants is quite genuine even though we know certain lines are scripted. What is reality show, if it is not scripted? So, overall another reality show that will make you feel good will definitely will be New World. New World gained 7.5/10 Moview Star.

Banyak lagi tugasnya. Tulis banyak2 pun kita takkan baca. No.4 tu paling penting. Pak Cik kat kampung tu pun tahu kalau tersadai di atas bumbung, NADMA yang kena selamatkan tetapi Menteri yang dipilih rakyat dan PM tak tahu.

Mengapa ia gagal?

1. Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri (Tugas2 Khas), Dr,Abdul Latiff yang memegang amanah.

2. Menteri baru kan dia tidak tau pun kot NADMA dibawah dia. Bangun tidur 19 Disember baru sedar kot. 

3. Bangau oh Bangau- PM suruh NADMA suruh Negeri/ Menteri Besar suruh Pusat

4. Tidak effektif. Kerajaan gagal yang ada markah 90%. Ini akibatnya.

5. Sistem protokal yang tak masuk akal dan tak membantu. Peraturan untuk memudahkan bukan menyukarkan. Samalah senario dengan Dewan Rakyat, speaker tolak usul banjir walaupun Negara dilanda banjir. Macam mana nak maju!

6. Tak cukup kewangan diberi kepada NADMA (tunding ke Menteri Kewangan pula)

7. Pengundi yang kurang bijak. (Undi semua ahli bebas ye lepas ini. :) ) Gurau je.

Seelok-eloknya, orang yang diberi amanah jika tidak jalankan tugas. Letaklah jawatan, itulah ajaran Nabi. Mana squad Kjaan Gagal. Tolong pastikan menteri-menteri seupama ini tidak berterusan. Terima Kasih.

                

Sepintas Lalu: Banjir 2021

Ingatkan 2020 je yang teruk dilanda pandemik tetapi 2021 tidak mengalah untuk terus menguji kita. Banjir 2021 yang terbesar dan kebanyakan rumah rakyat Malaysia dinaiki air buat kali pertama. Jadi memang tiada persediaan untuk menghadapi bencana ini.

Antara kawasan yang sering didengar ialah Taman Sri Muda, Sg.Lui, Shah Alam, Karak, Bentong dan beberapa kawasan di Kuantan. Keenam negeri di semenanjung iaitu Selangor, Pahang, Negeri, Melaka, Kelantan dan Terengganu mengalami banjir yang tidak pernah diduga.

Setakat hari ini, 17 terkorban dalam banjir seluruh negara.

Dalam kesusahan pasti ada hikmah dan inilah kompilasi video-video yang menunjukkan bahawa Humanity atau sifat kemanusiaan itu masih wujud.

1. Seorang wanita tanpa merisaukan keselamatannya menyelamatkan seorang makcik yang berada dalam kenderaanya dan hampir hanyut di Maran.

2. Menteri besar Selangor yang turun padang dan menyelamatkan bayi dan orang tua.

3. Seorang cucu yang tekad menyelamatkan neneknya. Siap bagi kata2 perangsang!

4. Satu keluarga bersama kawan-kawan India memasak dan membahagikan makanan tanpa mengira kaum.

5. Seperti biasa, Kerabat diraja Pahang dan Johor yang prihatin terhadap mangsa banjir. Dalam video ini boleh dilihat, Tengku Hassanal sendiri yang mengangkat pesakit ke dalam helikopter.

Geng-geng MUDA Syed Saddiq dan Parti Keadilan Rakyat, MP Batu, P. Prabhakaran turut turunpadang dan banyak membantu. Ramai lagi sebenarnya.

Terdapat juga insiden-insiden yang menyakitkan hati seperti 

Majlis Sukaralewan oleh KBS diikuti Majlis di hotel oleh Menteri Wanita... Ketua Polis pula pantau naik helikopter sedangkan YDPA berada di darat dan macam-macam lagi.

Walau apapun ringan-ringankanlah bahu untuk membantu mereka yang memerlukan. 

Rakyat Malaysia tetap bersatu ketika bencana dan hanya politikus yang sering main api perkauman.

Ayuh kita doa sama-sama mengikut kepercayaan masing-masing

Is Sivakarthikeyan getting mighty? Dirty Siva!

    Recently all rounded celebrity Sivakarthikeyan produced a film, Vazzhl. Quite disappointing when Miss I team found there is a kissing scene in Vazzhl and the hero of the film discussed about it openly and arrogantly in the film launching. Many times we have discussed there is no need for barbarian scenes in Indian films. India is not Hollywood! Even Hollywood  have moved out from Sex and Kissing scenes.

    Indian rape cases are increasing and the mentality of Indians are getting lower ever because of the films. We have discussed much about this! Previously known as dirty icon, Dhanush who loves to promote heroism, gangsterism, alcoholics, bastard community and etc. Now we have SK doing the same! SK known for his clean act but producing such film makes him dirty as well. So he better need to change his producer skill. We have nothing against SK as you can see our previous post about him is totally a praise. Please change back SK! Congrats for your child born as well, don't disappoint him.

Aktiviti: Penghasilan Cogan Kata.

1. Fikirkan dan hasilkan Cogan Kata peribadi anda. Jadi sekreatif yang boleh. (Dalam Bahasa Melayu atau English)

2. Hiaskannye dengan kreativiti anda menggunakan medium seperti cat air, pensel warna, marker dll.( Size A4)

3. Tangkap gambar hasilan anda dan whatsapp ke dalam group / Pamerkan di sudut Pengakap
