Mr. Housekeeping, Tamil Movie. MOVIEW

We Malaysians know there aren't many movies in the theatre, but there is this one Tamil movie known as Mr. Housekeeping. Let’s see!

Mr. Housekeeping follows a young man, Hari Baskar, who unexpectedly becomes a housekeeper in a wealthy family’s mansion. The story is simple, but the comedy hits the mark. Many emotional scenes, combined with comedy, make it interesting.

Comedy:
The film is filled with situational comedy and witty dialogues. Many scenes rely on funny misunderstandings and the main character’s struggles as a housekeeper. The humor is clean and enjoyable, making it a good watch for families. Some jokes land well, but a few feel predictable.

New Actor:
Hari Baskar, who is new to the industry, delivers a decent performance. He brings freshness to the role and handles both comedic and emotional scenes well. He has the potential to become a great performer, and I guess he has already gained new fans.

Love vs. Family Love:
The movie explores both romantic love and family love. The main character is torn between following his heart and fulfilling his family’s expectations. The film shows how love for family sometimes requires sacrifices but also teaches that personal happiness matters.

Betrayal:
Most guys hate their girlfriend's boy bestie, and this plot makes that hatred stronger. There is an unexpected betrayal in the story, which adds drama. Losliya, whom the hero trusts, turns against him, making the audience feel his pain. This twist is effective in keeping the story engaging, though the resolution feels a bit rushed and quick.

Overall Verdict:
Mr. Housekeeping is a fun and heartwarming movie with a mix of comedy, love, and family drama. While not perfect, it is an enjoyable watch, especially for those who like lighthearted films with emotional depth. So, here goes—3/5 Movie Stars. Watch it in the theatre. New actors, but worth watching!
