Big Expectation

Many people wanted to see the Telugu movie Raakaasa. People had big expectations before the movie came out. The trailers looked very interesting. The movie starts in a very good way. It shows a beautiful world and makes the audience feel excited.

The main actors are good and presentable. The hero is Sangeeth Sobhan. He is very handsome. He looks great on the screen. The heroine is Nayan Sarika. She is very beautiful. When they are together, they look wonderful. They bring good energy to the film. In the beginning, you feel happy to watch them. You think you are going to see a great movie.

The story is about an NRI. He is a young man who lives in another country. He comes back to his small village. He goes to see an old, dark fort. In this village, there are many strict rules about the fort. But the hero accidentally breaks a rule. Because of this, an old, dangerous curse wakes up. A big demon or monster comes back to life.

The Comedy and the Story Problems

The first half of the movie has many "fun elements." There are many jokes. The lead actor tries to make people laugh. Some popular comedy actors like Vennela Kishore and Getup Srinu are also in the movie. They try their best to do good comedy. In some scenes, the audience can smile and laugh.

But as the movie goes on, there is a big problem. The comedy does not have a proper finishing touch. This means the jokes start well, but they do not end well. The funny parts feel like separate small videos. They do not join together with the real story. The comedy does not help the main plot move forward.

The director of the movie is Manasa Sharma. The director tries to do too many things at the same time. The director wants to have twist after twist. Every few minutes, something changes in the story. The director thinks these twists will make the movie exciting. But actually, too many twists confuse the audience. The story loses its way. Instead of feeling thrilled, the audience feels tired because the story changes too much.

The story line of Raakaasa simply does not help the film. It is weak. It feels like the writers did not think carefully about how to connect the horror elements with the funny scenes. Because of this, the actors have a difficult time making the movie look good.

A Big Disappointment

The biggest problem of the movie is the ending. The final twist at the end is quite disappointing. It changes everything in a bad way.

The movie tells us about a big monster or Rakshasa. This monster is 2000 years old. For 2000 years, this creature was very bad and scary. It was a cruel demon. It did not have a kind heart. It asked the village people for human sacrifices. It wanted to kill real people to get power. The movie builds a lot of fear around this 2000-year-old monster.

But at the very end of the movie, the story changes completely. Suddenly, the movie shows that the monster is actually a good person! The director tries to show that the monster has a good heart and a sad past. This twist is very hard to believe. How can a cruel monster that asked for human sacrifices for thousands of years suddenly become a good person? It makes no sense. The audience feels bad because the scary build-up is completely ruined. Another disappointment is...in this modern AI world, the monster still looks graphic and not scary at all. Disappointing!

The Bad Logic

Also, the ending completely ignores its own logic. In the early parts of the story, we learn about a person who died. This person died directly in the hands of the monster. Before dying, that person found a specific method to destroy the monster. It was a special way to kill the demon forever.

The audience expects the hero to use this specific method in the climax. But at the end, the monster is not destroyed by the method suggested by the person who died. The movie completely forgets this rule. This makes the story feel very lazy. The death of the character in the past becomes useless because their advice was not important at the end.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Raakaasa is a movie with good actors but a very bad story. All the casts played their roles well. Sangeeth Sobhan is good at comedy. Nayan Sarika looks beautiful and acts well. The supporting actors like Brahmaji and Ashish Vidyarthi do a great job too. The fort sets look very real and scary.

But a movie needs a logical story. You cannot take a 2000-year-old bad monster and say he is a good guy at the end. You cannot forget the rules of your own story. Because of these mistakes, Raakaasa starts with a big expectation but finishes in a very disappointing way so it gain 4/10 MOVIEW STARS. DO WATCH IN NETFLIX.
