The Penthouse: War in Life is a top Korean Drama with 3 seasons. Nothing can defeat the first season but we cannot deny Season 2 and Season 3 are doing well. This drama highlights how bad a rich can be and the scandals around them which make the audience angry. Interestingly, this drama is focused around a Penthouse known as Hera Palace.
Many of us are asking whether Hera Palace is real or not.
1. It is not real
It was actually a computer graphic designed placed in the richest neighbourhood, Samseong Dong, Gangnam Gu. The actual filming done in luxurious apartment in Paju
2. Why Hera?
Hera is a Greek Goddess of women, marriage and child birth. It is suitable as the story centred around how mothers protect their child or telling the world they might do anything for their children.
3. Symbolic
The story or thrilled event always occurs around Hera Palace. This is one of the way to make strong symbols and make us remember the story.
4. Deleted Scenes
Real collapsed building was used as a scene to portray the fall of Hera Palace. Many protest request to delete the scene as it brings humility to real victims.
5. Facilities
In the film, Hera palace has 100 floors, shops, swimming pools, gym, tuition centre, hall and security guards.
6. Differences
The statue shown in the drama is different from the opening scenes.
