Collapsed Kuantan!

Currently those who is visiting Kuantan, the capital of Pahang will be shocked due to the certain changes occurred here. Kuantan in the name of ‘development’ or to be a big city is facing a big trouble!

First, the change in the road directions made many of us confused and it is actually increasing the traffic jam. Many changes happened in the direction around Jalan Wong Ah Jang, Jalan Pasar, Jalan Gambut and etc. Take an extra attention on this because you might drive in a wrong direction where you can see cars are ‘running’ towards you!

Another spectacular scene is building a flyover. I don’t know how dark will Kuantan be in the future. Due to this flyover, traffic jam is getting worst and most of the drivers do not follow the traffic light.  In addition the roads are in a terrible condition and you will feel like riding a rollercoaster. The scenary at Jalan Bukit Ubi is the worst where you can see pile of sands, big concrete materials, building equipment and destroyed MPK field. So drive slowly around Jalan Bukit Ubi.

Currently, there are also huge accidents happened here which involves 7 cars and 2 motorcycles. So please be careful around here.

No worry much, Miss I is also able to snap good side of Kuantan from the General Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan

Today I learnt about one great Indian known as Subramania Bharathi as today is his birthday. Bharathi is a notable Tamil poet and praised by Tamilians for his great work.  There was a saying stating Bharathi gets fame from Tamil Language at the same time Tamil gains fame because of Bharathi’s work.

Today we will learn few unknown facts about Bharathi to honor him on his birthday.

         Bharathi was forced to marry a 7 years old girl when he was fourteen. Bharathi  go against such      marriage after he grows up.

-    Bharathi learnt 32 languages (29 Indian languages and 3 foreign languages) yet he claims no other language is superior than Tamil language (Oldest spoken language in the world)

-           

-     Bharathi was born in a Brahmin family (High Caste) but he against the caste system.

-           

-     Bharathi is one of the individuals who fight for equal status for women in India.

-           

-      During 1920s, Bharathi’s health gets worst after he was struck by an elephant named Lavanya whom he used to feed. Later, he passed away on 12 Sept 1921 because of his health condition.

-           

       There are universities and few roads named after Bharathi. Statue  of Bharathi placed at Marina Beach and also at Indian Parliament.

Following is one of his greatest poem: Achamillai Achamillai

"Uchchi Meedhu Vaan Idindhu Veezhugindra Podhinum, Achcham Illai Achcham Illai Achcham Enbadhillaiyae",

"Let the sky fall, when it crumbles, we will stand tall and face it all together."

Interestingly, this poem is found related with the song sang by Adele: Skyfall!

Diary Must Keep: Benefits of Writing a Diary/ Journal

Come…lets have a casual talk. Most people doubt the function of a journal or diary. Actually it’s quite good to have our own diary but some says it is a stupid thing to do because it is a waste of time and revealing our secrets to others. Whatever it is, allow me to explain diary’s benefits based on my experience.

1.It is a measuring ruler.

Diary can act as a measuring ruler of your past and present. For example, your language ability can be measured. I opened my diary which was written 5 years ago and I found that I made a lot of grammatical mistakes which I can correct it now. These kind of mistakes which  I have made in my past: “result is going released”, “I recess with Izaty”, “I go to work but I was happy” and etc. See many grammar mistakes right? I can fix it now that means my English is getting better.

At the same time, you also can measure your personality growth. Maybe in your past, you are too shy to talk to others and you write down the reasons for it. Therefore, when you read it back, you can overcome your weaknesses and be better.

2.   It is a pleasure experience

It is always fun to read back everything that we have undergone. Reading back all the good moments and also read about situation that made our tears fall will always make us feel good. It is the best remedial for our stress and emotions.  I love to read again my diary and always laugh on my own after read it.

3. It is your friend

Friend here means, diary helps you to share your feelings.  It is difficult to find a right person to share about our feelings, moments and even problems. With diary, its just between you and that cute book. You’re in your own world, learning about yourself.

4. Boost your creativity.

Your writing style and the way you organize and decorate your diary can really make your time. It can be a great hobby to keep you busy. At the end of the day, you will learn about many things and ideas just by keeping your diary beautiful.

5. Helps not to forget your past

     They said don't forget three types of people:

          -who helped you in difficult time

          - who left you in difficult time

          - who put you in difficult time

     No worries, diary can help you to remind about them.

These are just few good things about diary. Let’s hold a pen and grab a diary today. Just make sure your book guarded well and don’t write things that can cause you trouble in the future.

Seperti sedia maklum, di Negara kita, parti yang memerintah ditentukan berdasarkan kerusi yang dimenangi dan bukannya undian majoiti yang diterima. Tambahan pula, Sarawak ialah salah satu negeri kuat yang menyokong parti yang memerintah.

Jadi apa motif penambahan kerusi di Sarawak, pasti anda tahu jawapannya. Lebih banyak kerusi yang dimenangi lebih cepatlah dapat tawan Putrajaya. Nampak tak penambahan DUN bukanlah untuk menjaga kesejahteraan rakyat, malah hanya sekadar teknik ‘bijak’ untuk memerintah semula dengan memenangi kerusi terbanyak pada pilihanraya akan datang. Hal ini kerana, ini akan menambahkan peluang untuk parti memerintah untuk memenangi kerusi dengan lebih banyak. Apa salahnya jika tambah kerusi di Pulau Pinang, Kelantan atau Selangor...memang tidak akan berlaku kerana itu ialah kawasan pembangkang.
