Topic  : Unit 7: Blogging (Three Billy Goats)

Focused Skill: Reading

Content Standard   : 2.2 By the end of the 6- year primary schooling, pupils will be able to demonstrate understanding of a variety linear and non-linear texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a range of strategies to construct meaning.

Learning Standard : 2.2.2 Able to read and understand phrases and sentences from.

a)    Linear texts.

Learning Objectives : By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

                                    i. read at least four sentences in the given text with correct pronunciation with guidance.

                                    ii. perform Reader’s Theatre with correct pronunciation and intonation.

                                  

Cross-curricular Elements (EMK):   Creative and Innovation. Reader’s Theatre. Pupils need to act while reading the dialogue script.

Induction Set

Travel Buddy: 3 days Singapore Trip pt.2

Ok here part 2 to Singapore trip

2^nd day- Universal Studio and Little India.

Universal Studio is expensive but really worth it. You can play all the rides for free once you paid for the entrance. Really amazing rides and entertainment such as roller coaster, boat ride and 4D movie. Must try it.

If you want to taste Indian food, little India is a right place. There is an old and famous Mariamman Temple. Must visit but please behave. Hinduism is a scientific religion, so no shoes are allowed inside the temple as germs can spread. Wash your legs before enter.

  3^rd day- China Town, Bugis and Gardens by the Bay

China Town is better than Indian town because the Chinese designed buildings looks beautiful and things here are quite cheap compared to Indian town.  There is a large Buddha Tooth temple to make you amazed at China town.

If you need souvenir, key chains or anything cheap find it at Bugis walk. You can buy bundle items over here. 

Finally there are beautiful man made big trees at Gardens by the Bay which will look amazing during night because of its light. Don’t miss all these places at Singapore.

Tips:

Singaporeans are not friendly, will move fast and act buzy. So don’t waste their time by asking many questions.

Most Singaporeans are young so there are many (Handsome guys) Leng Chai and (Beautiful girls) Ahmoi (Is this a useful tips?)

Most things here are expensive because Singapore is all about money! So bring enough pennies.

Just travel using MRT...you will reach anywhere at Singapore with it.

Last but not least, Singapore is not that clean so don’t have very high expectations.

Travel Buddy: 3 Days Trip to Singapore

Miss I had a great journey to Singapore and here some of the great places to visit and few tips.

To Singapore

Ok actually, there is a direct bus from Malaysia to Singapore. Transnasional offers opportunity for Malaysians to visit Singapore. So, Miss I from Kuantan took a direct bus to Singapore with just RM 48. It saves your money and it saves cost. But from Singapore to Kuantan you need to spend RM112 or 36 SGD. Better than flight cost. It takes 6 hours to reach Singapore from Kuantan by bus.

Immigration Checking

Singaporeans are not that friendly compared to Malaysians. (No offense, it’s the truth. We learnt from experience). So the workers at Singaporean Immigration are quite rude because they will not talk and will treat you with dull face! So please be alert and refer to signboards because there is no assistance available at Woodlands. Singapore luggage checking will be tougher than Malaysia. Yet no worries, be firm and enjoy your trip.

Places to visit.

Singapore is really beautiful with modern design. The night view of Singapore will be  amazing. First, after we get down at Plaza Beach Road around 5pm, we went to a Hotel at Jalan Geylang (Find cheap hotels using apps/book earlier).

 -Esplanade Theatre/Merlion Park/ Marina Bay/Singapore Flyer

Okay, the nearest MRT station to Jalan Geylang is Aljunied Station. Grab the MRT map and learn the nearest station to places that you want to visit. It’s easy to do that way because all places can be reached by walking from the nearest station. 

Esplanade Theatre is really amazing for those interested with Drama. The ‘Durian Shaped’ Theatre is beautiful. Check their official website for shows or you just can enter and amazed with their large room theaters. The lion replica is at Merlion Park. You can do many activities here: river cruise, ride the flyer or get up to the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. All activities come with a price or you can just watch for free. There will part 2 for 2^nd and 3^rd day soon.

Moana Review: MOVIEW

As usual, Disney movies never fail to bring magic and entertain viewers. Moana did the same where the interesting movie makes us keep watching. Miss I thinks that:

Characters

In this movie, Disney deleted the stereotype that most Disney heroes must be white, prince or princess. The main characters such as Moana and Maui in this movie are Polynesian. Moana is not a princess but more into a village chief’s daughter and Maui is a demigod. Unfortunately, Moana does not impact much or show strong influence as Elsa or other Disney Princesses. There is no much impact left to be remembered by the viewers. Maui also failed to do so; maybe the creator of Maui should show him as a handsome guy. The pig Pua, which is cute but failed to impress because no much scenes were dedicated for Pua. Pua should be given better scenes to shine as a supporting role. Overall, the characters are not shining compared to other Disney Characters. Miss I doesn’t like the personality of Maui. What do you think?

Plot

A wonderful homework was done about sea and sailing. The sailing and adventure scene of Moana made us follow the story well. The setting of ocean is really amazing. Good job was done. Unfortunately, the fighting scene: Good vs Evil finished so fast. Moana defeated evil in a short period. The viewers are not excited to watch that! The history of Moana’s ancestors is also not that interesting.

Antagonist

The evil in this movie is a Volcanic Monster. The monster does not do anything, it is a wasted character.

Overall

Moana is a great movie that can be watched. Even though there are few lacking yet it earns 7 stars from Miss I…Congrats.

KPOP ROOKIE GROUP SUCCESS…KNK great achievement!

As far we concern Miss I organizes Miss I Korean Entertainment Awards (MIKEA). To win MIKEA, kpop performers need to undergo strict judgment by the judges in terms of song quality, performances, creativity and popularity.

Interestingly, KNK with the new debut song ‘Knock’ wins the MIKEA April chart defeating other top team such as Got 7, Red Velvet, Boys Republic and etc.  KNK  five members Youjin, Seungjun, Inseong, Jihun and Heejun performed well for their MV and live show. By the way the meaning of KNK is Keunakeun which means great. Hope they will bring great changes on KPOP industry…WELL DONE KNK.

Municipal Council Officer insulted by rude couples! Pegawai Majlis Pembandaran dihina oleh Pasangan Kurang Ajar!

Watching the viral video where a Municipal Council Officer’s uniform was pulled by a lady and at the same time a guy assault the officer by getting very close to her. The guy ridiculously insults the officer by stating that he is just taking a picture. The guy already caused violence against woman in this case. The video clearly shows the couple was rude to the officer even though the cause of this incident doesn’t clearly shown by the video. Unfortunately, many  Facebook users  made  racist statements against Chinese community after watching this video. Miss I advises watchers please be rationale and this is nothing to do with races. It is just an uncivilized action by two idiots.

This is not a first time a municipal officer has been treated violently. No wonder foreign countries are using police to issue parking summons while Malaysia assigning Municipal Officer. Previously, a stall keeper pulled a municipal officer’s hair when the officer tried to seal the stall. The question is how safe the municipal officer during their working time? Can our government find a better solution on this issue? JUDGE YOURSELF!

Kashmora's Brilliant Success: MOVIEW

Actors:  Karti, Nayantara, Sri Divya, Vivek and etc.

Here a review on a Tamil movie with a rare name  ‘Kashmora’ which means Deadly Spirit made a great impression.   

Miss I can say that this is one of the best movies of Karthi.

Actors

Karthi usually doesn’t get the spotlight like Surya’s movies but this time Karthi chose a good movie to act. As usual the great beauty Nayantra did well in this movie but she doesn’t given much role.

Plot

This movie plot was made like a great action movie but actually it is a comedy typed movie. The movie full with comedies and Vivek got back his comedy talent. The hero Karti also doesn’t failed to make us laugh.

Songs

Opps! All the songs are totally failed!

Story

Even though the story seems normal and some storyline might similar to the story Arundhati but yet it makes us follow the story completely.

A very great movie and full with comedies. Miss I had a good laugh. Here take the 7/10 points.

Train to Busan can be credited! : MOVIEW

A film directed by Yeon Sang Ho, Train to Busan is a totally outstanding Korean film. The film cast by Gong Yoo, Jung Yu Mi, Ma Dong Seok, Choi Woo Shik and etc really made a great impression.

Acting
Handsome looking Gong Yoo, bold actress, Jung Yu Mi and Ma Dong Seok really made new fans through this film.

Plot
The film mainly about zombies attack really has a good zombie show. The aggressive and fast zombie really made the viewers chill! Unfortunately, the story line does move slowly. There is no much interesting plots or comedy involve.

Emotions
For those who loves emotional movie, you can watch this movie because you will not expect something like this will happen to a hero!

Overall, it is something you should watch at a theater.  Miss I points: 7/10 

MISHIL QUOTES (QUEEN SEON DEOK) K-TALK

This marveleous k-drama Queen Seon Deok because of the antagonist character, Lady Mishil. Viewers claimed they love to watch this movie because Go Hyun Jung's cast as Mishil.

The history of Shilla portrayed well in this drama with interesting story line. Here few Mishil's quotes that can motivate and implemented in our daily lives.

PEOPLE

Sire, Did you say they who gain the hearts of people... will upon creation?! That with people by their side, they will rule above all ages to come?! People?! take a look, Sire! These are my people! Not yours but Mishils, my people! And... it is now, Mishils time to rule." 

TIME

So i thought, that time would aid my cause. But, looking back... Time holds no keeper. 

Yook Cham Gor Dan

It means " Give up my skin in order to break the enemy's bone". What does that martial arts philosophy have to do with this situation? 
Mishil: What is it only limited in Martial Arts? Both politics and the military also have bone and skin. General Kim that was sent to Ah Mak Fortress ... is the very skin. 

PEOPLE ARE EVIL

"There is nothing to be proud of wrong doing..." It's too naive just being good..." "Therefore it is acceptable to be 'evil'? " That's right Princess Cheon myeong is good... and I am "evil". By the way... In this book, it is said that...just being good and not being "evil" doesn't give the person the right to sit on the king's. That is how it was written. So, why you are serving Cheonmyeong, who is always "good"? Do you believe that people are good as Cheonmyeong? No way... Not at all! People, human beings in general are "evil" by nature!

When Leader listens

Once he starts to listen, then he will get an earful requests. Do this, do that...And if all the request are met, then do you think it will ever end? Nope, he will never see the end of it. However he may rule, he'll never be able to completely satisfy or fulfill a human beings tendency for greed. And yet... those who are clueless can easily utter words about Mishil being evil.

Paralympic is not treated as Olympic!

Basically, it is about situation at Malaysia right now. During the Olympic time, the whole Malaysians eager for Gold but the Nation just gain 3 silvers and 1 bronze. Last time, during the Paralympic, Mohammad Ridzuan Mohammad Puzi won a Gold for Men’s 100m. Ironically, no one cheers for him and no one getting excited. WE WON A GOLD! COME ON!

Negaraku (Malaysian National anthem) was played at DOHA, we should be proud but Malaysians ignore it. Usually, the winner will be rewarded huge cash and Prime Minister will announce a public holiday. Did Ridzuan get the same respect?

When we are talking about equality, we should show some good example. I hope Malaysia appreciates everyone. This only can be done by making Ridzuan a hero just like other Olympic heroes.

GURU / SU LADAP Latihan Dalam Perkhidmatan KPM (Teacher's Help)

This post is written in Malay as it is related to Malaysian Teaching Professions. Thank You.

Guru atau Setiausaha Latihan Dalam Perkhidmatan (LADAP) pastinya mempunyai tanggungjawab yang berat kerana harus memastikan guru-guru lain menepati syarat Ladap iaitu dengan mematuhi 42 jam latihan setahun dan sebagainya.Harap nota yang disediakan oleh Miss I mampu membantu guru-guru.

Mengisi Program Ladap

-         Setiap staff akademik atau sokongan harus memenuhi syarat latihan 42 jam setahun bermakna 

      7 hari x 6 Jam. Syarat ini boleh dipenuhi dengan menghadiri program Ladap sekolah atau kursus-kursus luar.

-           

-          Guru Ladap boleh memastikan syarat ini dipenuhi dengan menetapkan 1 program setiap bulan yang mempunyai 6 jam. Pada bulan 7 pastinya semua akan memenuhi syarat tersebut. Tetapi lebih elok setiap tahun ada sekurang-kurangnya 10 program dalam rancangan.

-           

-          Kini kelonggaran yang diberi ialah perhimpunan boleh dikira sebagai Ladap. Tetapi hanya sekali sebulan dan mesti diisi hanya 2 jam. (Semua program dijalankan hari persekolahan tidak boleh melebihi 3 jam).

-           

-          Sekiranya perhimpunan dikira, secara tidak langsung akan dapat (2x 11 bulan)= 22 jam secara percuma. Cuma pastikan staff bukan akademik turut serta nyanyi Negaraku tiap pagi tu yea supaya dapat isi jam juga.

-           

-          Berikut cara menulis tajuk Ladap: Perhimpunan Awal Bulan Januari (Visi Misi Sekolah). Tajuk dibicarakan mesti ada mengikut tajuk minggu bertugas atau takwim.

-           

-          Lebih menarik untuk Mesyuarat Hari Sukan juga boleh diisi sebagai Ladap. Pastinya S/U Sukan akan membuat taklimat hari sukan jadi bolehlah diisi sebagai Taklimat Sukan (3 Jam) sebab dikira sebagai ‘coaching’ juga.

-          Sambutan-sambutan lain seperti Hari Ponggal, Pameran Gigi juga boleh dikira Ladap sekiranya penceramah-penceramah luar atau topik- topik seperti budaya, tradisional dan kemahiran dibincangkan.

Tugas-tugas guru lain

-Guru-guru lain wajib mengisi TNA melalui modul individu sebelum Januari setiap tahun!

-Gambar mesti dimuat naik. (Gambar passport formal jangan nak posing lebih-lebih).

-Pengalaman perkhidmatan harus diisi (Guru baru posting tak perlulah!)

- Sumbangan professional (Ketua Pengawas, Jurulatih dan sebagainya)

-Sumbangan bukan professional (Jawatan di NUTP, Badan Beruniform Kebangsaan dll.)

- Setiap sumbangan mesti mempunyai bukti sijil dan disahkan oleh Ketua Jabatan kemudian disimpan oleh SU LADAP.

Kabali Movie Review (MOVIEW)

Kabali's fever is still ongoing among Indians and Malaysians. The film acted by an actor with everlasting fame, Superstar Rajinikanth. He himself is the greatest promotion for the film. The film directed by Pa.Ranjith  and produced by Kalaipuli S.

Summary

The story begins in such way; Rajinikanth is a society fighter but he used gangsterism to help others unfortunately the real gangsters tried to get rid of him. At the end, Rajini’s wife was attacked by gangsters and Rajini was arrested. Rajini thought his wife is death but later discovered she is still alive and they have a daughter. So after return from the prison, he searched for the enemy and his family.

Plot

Miss I deep analysis shows the No.1 Malaysian Box office film has just an ordinary story. There is no much impact or new plot discovered. Just like other Tamil films, it is about gangsterism and revenge.The film is not a failure as the stories are well developed and thanks to the global star Rajinikanth for the box office hit.

Controversy

Unfortunately, there are controversial issues in this film. Malaysian is well known for togetherness of various races. This film does not highlight that! Certain scenes and dialogues are censored at Malaysia because it targets certain groups and if put it in a wrong way it can insult the Indian community itself. Luckily it was not banned in Malaysia as there are many negative comments against races. Certain ritual in the film is also insulting Hindu community as gangsters are doing puja for their bad deeds when there is no such thing like that in Hinduism. As certain dialogues are censored, the message by the film is not clearly sent to the community. The sad thing is the film acted by certain Malay actors such as Rosyam Nor and Norman Hakim but the actors did not explain the scenario of Malaysia to the Indian director in order to produce better quality film.

Wrong setting and demographic portrayal

Most Indians at Malaysian in this film portrayed as gangsters, drug supplier, prisoners and etc. Actually, there are many professionals are under the category Indians. So this bad picture of Indians might give a wrong view to the foreigners. The movie has a good message but it was not reached because lack of homework done by the production team.

Acting

Acting of Rajinikanth is beyond everything. There is no doubt on that. He still can act just like  young guys even though he already reached 65. Other than Rajinikanth, there is no other actors that made great impression.

Songs

Songs are not that interesting except the song Nerupe Da made a lasting impression.

Overall the movie gained 7 stars from 10 stars

Sekinchan, Selangor, Malaysia: Travel Buddy

Sekinchan is a small town of Sabak Bernam which is located 92.9km from Kuala Lumpur. You can arrive here within 1 hour 14 minutes if you drive from Kuala Lumpur. You can spend a night here because there are lots of interesting things you can do over here.

The first thing you can visit is Pantai Redang Beach. Usually beaches around villages will be dirty and not organized. Interestingly, Pantai Redang Beach is well managed by the Chinese Community and very suitable for tourism. There are one Coca Cola shop at this beach which sells souvenirs related to Coca Cola.

Moreover, there is a Chinese temple with a wishing tree. You can make a wish by throwing a red ribbon to the tree. At the same time, you can have a great photography session with the tree. It’s a splendid scenery.

Sekinchan also well known for seafood. There are many seafood restaurants on the way to the beach. Seafood at here are very fresh as it is taken from the nearby beach. Fish smell and Sekinchan cannot be separated. Miss I cannot suggest or promote any restaurant but just try one. We had a great seafood moment here.

For those live at urban area, you can have a great escape because you can see a huge paddy field located at Tali Air road. The evening sun makes the green paddy field into golden colour. Seagulls are an addition for this paddy field. You must see it!

Fruit lovers also can eat  big Mangoes around here. There are many mango stalls at the road side. We are not sure about the price but for sure it will be cheap as there are many stalls gathered at one place.

JUNG YONG HWA and PARK YOOCHUN Arrested? (Crime Analysis) K-TALK

The K-Pop shocked with the investigation of two top guns of the area based on different crimes. Most of the fans do not trust the news and still supporting their idol, no matter what the police or media said.

Basically, Yong Hwa just did an investment but an entertainment company shamelessly claimed that Yong Hwa purchased the stock based on insider information. How will this be a crime? Even if he did so, it will be his right because stock buyers need to buy stock after deep analysis. Anyway, he found no guilty and released from this case. However, Lee Jong Hyun need to pay 20 million fine because he went ahead to purchase the FNC stocks without verifying the facts that his agency would be signing with Yoo Jae Suk.  Both of them are free bird now.

On the other hand, we need to deal with terrible cases done by Park Yoochun. Park Yoochun charged with sexual assault cases charged by five women! The case is still on investigation but unfortunately even he found no guilty, he still can considered worst pervert and at the same time, has no respect to be an idol or public figure. This is because he visited women that can provide sex services which should not be done by a guy with ethic. Anyway, we let the judgment done by the society and police.

Overall, Yong Hwa is safe and still can be loved and Park Yoochun’s story will be totally different. Many sources suggested even Park Yoochun found no guilty, his career still will be over. Let’s just wait and see the conclusion.

IKLAN RAYA 2016/ 2016 EID MUBARAK ADVERTISTMENTS

Raya or Eid Mubarak at Malaysia cannot be separated from wonderful Raya Advertisements. For many years, Petronas, TNB and TM Net had prepared wonderful advertisements to express their festival wishes in line promoting their products.

Aidilfitri festival becomes brighter with more advertisements with good values showing helping each other, respect, forgiving and family relationships.  For some of us especially those born before 20s, these advertisements hold such a good festival memories.
