Moview: Vikram Vedha Review

Most of us have heard the legend of Vedalam and Vikramadithyan. Vedalam is a ghost live in the forest and  Vikram will search for the ghost to capture it in order to bring the happiness to the country. Vedalam can only be captured if Vikram find the solution for its questions.

Based on this tale, Pushkar and Gayathri directed and wrote the story line for this film. The film acted by major figures in Tamil Industry, Vijay Sethubathi and R. Madhavan.

Vijay Sethubathi acted as Vedha which represents Vedalam and troubles Madhavan or Vikram. He plotted a strategy to make sure Vikram finds an answer for all Vedha’s questions. Vedha is a gangster but innocent so he will force Vikram to find answers why he was innocent.

Storyline
Very interesting story based on Vedalam and Vikramadithyan. A remarkable achievement in Tamil industry because they plotted the story accordingly and try to relate with the mentioned legend. A very funny story line because of Vijay Sethubathi’s acting. Earlier quite boring but as the story develops, it gets interesting. It has an amazing ironical ending as well.

Cast
Madhavan looks very manly and able to catch many girl’s heart. His brave acting really represents him as a honest police officer while Vijay Sethubathi as usual is not worry about his hero's image. He can be anything at any time. His funny acting is really a plus point for this film. There is no much role for heroines in this film.

Negative Points
As usual, in Tamil film they will mention liquor consumption is injurious to health yet they will show it. In this film, they will drink alcohol and have a happy life which is a bad example. It is also a bad remark for Tamil culture. At the same time, just like ordinary Tamil movies gangsterism and fighting scenes are highlighted. Not suitable for viewers below 18 years.

Overall
An excellent movie with different plot line and deserve to get 8/10 Moview Stars.
